PS2208B comes with 8 RJ45 Fast Ethernet ports supporting 10/100Mbps network connectivity. With N-Way Auto-Negotiation, PS2208B is able to detect the capability of the transmission speed and mode between any two nodes, and self-configure for the highest possible operation mode.

* Dynamic Address Learning & Filtering With Dynamic Address Learning & Filtering, PS2208B maintains a MAC address table that holds the informa- tion of whereabout a specific MAC address is with respect to the port number. When a frame packet is to be forwarded, the Switch will refer to the MAC address table and forward the packet only to the related port, avoiding the collisions commonly seen in a Hub or Repeater.

* PS2208B is fully compliant with IEEE 802.3 10Base-T and 802.3u 100Base-TX standards, ensuring full compatibility with your existing Ethernet equipment. To migrate from an 8-port Ethernet Hub to PS2208B, simply replace the 8-port Hub with PS2208B.

* Small Compact Desktop Casing
PS2208B is enclosed in an attractive small desktop casing. With its compact size, it can easily find a location in the office.
