In these examples, will has nothing to do with future meaning.

We can also make conditionals by using words other than if.

If we had more money, we could buy a new car.

Supposing we had more money, what would you buy?
Take the umbrella in case it rains.
Don't leave unless I tell you to.

supposing = if
in case = if by chance
unless = if ... not ​

خب مطالبی دیگر

We can also leave out if in informal situations:

You make any more trouble (and) I'll call the police!
Should the car break down, call me straight away.

We can use happen to to suggest that something happens by chance:

If you happen to see Kevin, tell him to call me.

We can also use it with should when there is even less chance of something happening:
If you should happen to bump into the Prime Minister, tell him to give me a tax rebate.​

Noun Groups​

Some nouns can be counted; you can count the number of books in the room and the number of words on a page, etc. These are countable nouns:

There are fifteen books in the room.
There are one hundred and fifty words on this page

However, some nouns cannot be counted. You cannot, for example, count water:

There is one water in the sea.
There are two waters in the sea.

This is because water is a non-countable noun; we cannot put a number in front of it. Non-countable nouns are sometimes known as uncountable nouns or mass nouns.

Sometimes we use a pronoun to replace a noun in a sentence. We do this so we do not have to repeat the same words again and again:

Brian opened the door, Brian paused by the door, and then Brian closed the door quietly.

becomes:

Brian opened the door, he paused by it, and then he closed it quietly​

Write at least one new word in your list every day, and then write the translation Keep this personal vocabulary calendar in your file.
After one month, you’ll have about 30 new words. And after one year, you’ll have … a lot of new words​

Noun Groups: Part 2​

It is easy to see a book; because we can see it, we call it a concrete noun. Sometimes it is impossible to see a noun; for example these are also nouns but you cannot see them:

love, happiness, life

These are abstract nouns and they ref er to concepts rather than objects. We also talk aboutproper nouns which are people's names:

Peter, Buddha

Look at these sentences:

The man ate the cake.

The big man ate the cake.

The very big man ate the cake.

The very big Australian man ate the cake.


We have taken a simple noun, man, and added other words to it to make a noun phrase.
A noun phrase works in the same way as a single noun.​

دوستان در گرامر ربان انگلیسیچند نکته جالب هست که بسیار هم ساده هستن

خب همونطور که قبلا گفتم بعضی جاها باید فارسی رو هم گفت:

یکی از نکات گرارمری زبان استفاده از قیدها میباشد

صفت و قید های غیر مقایسه ای..صفت و قیدهای برتر ..

براب بیان صفت و قیدهای مقایسه ای از عبارت Very استفاده میشود

براب بیان صفت و قیدهای برتر از عبارت much یا far استفاده میشود

مثال:
very clever
very tall
very beautiful

much clevere
much taller
much beautiful

far clevere
fartaller
farbeautiful

خب حالا یه نکته دیگه اینکه اصلا عبارت very در ابتدای جملات و وسط هم بکار نمیره(کاربرد آن بندرت و در گفتار)
و همیشه در اخر جملات مثبت بکار میره....
برای مثال جمله زیر غلط میباشد...هرچند که جمله کاملا مثبت بوده

he is very clever that he solved the fibonacci code

درست این جمله بصورت زیر هست...:

he is so clever that he solved the fibonacci code

اما این جمله رو باز هم مبیشه به صورت زیر بیان کرد:

he is so clever that he can the fibonacci code
he is so smart that he can the fibonacci code

توضیحات دیگری هم خواهد بود در مورد کلماتی چون....

Noun Groups: Part 3​

When we have a verb which we want to use as a noun, we can use a gerund (a verbal noun). This is made using the -ing form of the verb:

Skiing is fun.
He liked walking and cycling​

Verb Tenses​

The tense of a verb refers to the form of the verb. Often, but not always, they also refer to a particular time.

To begin with, we can talk about verbs being past, present or future.

When a verb is in the past, it generally refers to an action which took place before now. Likewise, a future
verb refers to an action which will happen after now in the future and a present verb refers to something happening right now

Within these categories we make other distinctions. We talk about simple or continuous (also known as progressive) and perfect forms.

We also use other forms of the verb in grammar: these are the infinitive and the imperative.

These are the active tenses in English:

Sometimes it is difficult to know exactly which tense to use. Often these problems are to do with selecting the right tense, e.g.

Simple or Continuous?
Present Perfect Continuous or Present Perfect Simple?
Present Perfect Simple or Past Simple?​

Conditional Perfect​

It is used in the 3rd Conditional to talk about imaginary situations in the past:

eg: If she'd seen the advert, she would have applied for the job.

NOTE: 'If she'd seen = If she had seen

Formation:

Would have + Past Participle ​

Third Conditional ​

For imaginary past actions, where the conditions for the action WERE NOT satisfied.
eg: If you'd been there, you would've seen it. (The conditions were not met because the person was not there and as a result did not see it.)

Formation:

If + Past Perfect, + Would have + Past Participle ​
