ofcourse you know the meaning of DEAR
and VALUED means someone who is respectful or valuable

and it definitely is by far too !! formal or better I say "official" in addressing somebody

For example when you say *I wanna tell you something* it means I want to tell you something
GUY here is the informal way of addressing friends it means boys (girls)

You're so right... but "gal " is kinda old these days... "Gal " was for 70's ... Nowadays they use "guys" for either boys orgirls...I mean a girl would call his girlfriends like that : " come on guys!" ...Check it out for yourself in the movies
