i know u guys are absolutely right and all, but what if u reach ur goal and then feel null and empty again? then u ought to set another goal? or u just have to look at it and say thank fvck life is beautiful? i dunno man i just see the negative side down the road.
I used to have the same thoughts as you have right now. As a matter of fact I think everybody have thought about these stuff once at least.
What then? What's my goal? What am I going to do next? Who cares? Nobody gives a shit about what I have learned or done. Why all the trouble?
Let me tell you an inspiring fact pal. As a fan of Sherlock Holmes movies (stories) I always wondered how he can almost solve any problem and find a smart, logical solution for everything. I was so curious about that. After watching the series again, I observed a really helpful thing about Sherlock that I'm going to share with you know. You know what was the first thing that Sherlock used to do when he was told about a mysterious crime? He used to arise with a question! but not an ordinary one, a really smart, thoughtful and RIGHT question. Although simple, but very important. In my opinion all his achievements were due to this little fact.
And now what is the relation of all these with your case? You know, I think you are not asking the right questions pal. You're right that after any achievement we still might feel a little null and empty but does this mean that now that everything seems worthless, we shouldn't care about them? As I told you before, sooner or later you're going to judge about yourself. How would you feel about yourself when you're looking back and seeing that almost none of your dreams came true just because you didn't see the point in yearning for them? By that time I assure you, you would just feel one thing and one thing only, REGRET. By that time you don't care about the aforementioned philosophical questions. In fact nobody is going to care about them, nobody is going to judge you based on your thoughts. They might pretend that they do care about your thoughts, but they really don't. This is why your job is very important in the eyes of people, this is why your car, your home, your skills are of utmost importance. These are the stuff that really matter.
My last advice to you and to myself is: Judge yourself before people judge you. People are harsh and not fair in their judgements, and they're ignorant of your thoughts.
Sorry that it got too long.
