I listen to country songs now and then. I'm an Audiophile and tend to listen to stuffs of highest quality but music quality is some kind genre-related. country is not of a sophisticated recording quality but some of them are good to listen to. at least they don't give me the creep like some other songs like rap

I like ur thinking towards music!
Genres like country and pop are easy-listening! u can connect real fast, the bad thing is u lose interest just as fast!
I used to be in to 70s and 80s hard rock, Prog rock and...
but now it's mostly jazz! especially improv jazz.
though I do enjoy enjoy easy listening jazz like Frank Sinatra or Tony Bennet...
Amazing vocalists...
