I know u wanna say this is the 100th Posting here in this Direction but we talk here in English not Persian and that is the deference.

actually what you suggested is a good one .... talking about the ways of learning English ... but I think we gotta talk more about our own experiences ... I mean : what we really know ... forget the cliches !!

well , if it is my turn , I gotta say that I 've learned English by watching 2-3 movies per week in past 6 years... and browsing the web for news and etc...I love English culture ! ... maybe you call it nothing... but you can't believe how much my English has improved because of these factors...

I mean , if you wanna learn English , you must learn ( and love and feel ) their culture too...that is the way

I have learned English by reading newspapers and memorizing Words.

Unfortunately I have forgotten my English because I did'nt practice it for a long Time.

you know about 4 years ago we got Nilesat sat,which has some channels that show movies with orginal language (almost all of them from hollywood) with arabic text in below.in the first day,honestly I didn't understand even one sentence (I mean it when I say not even one sen) even not getting the main story ,just hello (which is same word with farsi!!)
but now..u won't believe it...(I just at first didn't want to learn arabic or I didn't study..or anything else...nothing.I did nothing except watching movie. didn't watch them in the aim of learning arabic or En..just simply watch them for entertainment.
& now..u can rarely find a sentence that I don't get its meaning.even if I don't get it-maybe it's becouse of a main word in that sen that made me don't understand the whole meaning.
u know..now it encouraged me to try to learn it for a higher level.now i got some arab penpals to improve my skills.
as all friends above said,I think we should place ourselves in the (forein language) english environment,& of course their cultures.. internet & sat can easily make it real.
I saw a program about korean people nowadays , in a part they showed a little city which was designed for putting compeletly in english environment.the buildings were planed like europe or US famouse shops, markets & .. many entertainment show & parties..
every body in that city speak english,without exception.they showed that many korean students come there every day talking with each other.
unfortunately the things like this exist (even for hessam)..but not here for us

But.. (still there's a BIG BUT) as said before,
still we've got two cool aces..just don't blow these... INTERNET-SAT.
the easiest way is getting some penpals,how much it take ur time..?
maximum- 30 minutes every day...but it is a good step.don't miss it.
hope that forums like this continue.
if u (anybody..somebody..) creat another forum that we correct others english mistakes,in this or others forum..that would be great.

and it's way far from speaking
u have to have many skills to be a good english speaker first of all proper pronounciation

well ... seems everybody got me wrong about the "watching movies" thing ... I dont wanna give all the credit to " movie factor"!!! ... I think every body 'd be agree with me on that ....

I gotta say that translation is another good practice ....I love translation ... I 've translated hundreds of articles and projects in university .... and the good thing is: if you're good enough , you'll be paid for that !!!.... ain't that the dream : "to be paid to do what you love to do​

translation is very good to improve your English.
I know so many people that they can Farsi and English very good.but they can't transalte.
I mean only simple sentences.

when u wanna translate something ,your brain works and renews evey word.
I mean your brain is always ready to remember words and new words.
