Milan have whittled their search for a striker down to just two candidates, with Real Madrid's Klaas-Jan Huntelaar added to Luis Fabiano's name, according to Il Corriere Dello Sport.
Initially the Rossoneri were keen on Edin Dzeko of Wolfsburg. However, it seems he will be staying in Germany, while the chase for Arsenal hitman Emmanuel Adebayor doesn't seem economically viable. The report suggests the Togo striker wants €4.5-million-per-season in wages, however, Milan do not want to go above €4m.
That has left the club with little room to manoeuvre, but they are still keen on Luis Fabiano, with Huntelaar being the new alternative. It is said Sevilla want at least €30m for the Confederations Cup top-scorer. Despite the high price, the player has already admitted he would like to join the Rossoneri.
If the Fabiano move collapses, Huntelaar would be another option. The 25-year-old has been tipped to leave the Bernabeu this summer. However, the Italian side would like to take him on loan.
Although Milan have confirmed their interest in Adebayor and Fabiano, they have not made an official comment over the Huntelaar reports.

This was denied by the player's entourage, who stated that Seedorf did receive an offer from new Ajax coach Martin Jol in the past few days, which the player refused, but that no contact had been made between the two clubs.
The attacking midfielder's contract expires in two years. He has been with the Rossoneri since the summer of 2002, winning the Champions League in 2003 and 2007, and the Scudetto in 2004. He won his first Champions League trophy with Ajax in 1995 when he was 19 years old.

MILAN - 'Football should reward clubs who live thanks to their own resources. Clubs should reduce their expenses. Salaries and transfer sums should be proportional to the earnings.' Uefa reiterated its position in relation to financial fair play. 'Clubs should invest in youth sectors and use players formed in the youth system to strengthen their teams. Uefa and the clubs have been working to reduce excessive spending and to promote investments to maintain the club's well-being,' it said on a note distributed after a meeting in Vilnius.

MILAN - Within two to three years Uefa will form a control system on the financial regime of clubs who participate in European cups. This was announced by Uefa President Michel Platini at the end of today's meeting. The Uefa governing body has given the OK to apply the new rules, whose principles have already been established: the salary cap for the players and that of expenses for purchases will have to be proportional to the income. At the end of August the measures of financial moralisation will be examined by the strategic committee of Uefa.

Milan Vice-President Adriano Galliani intends to win the fans over by signing a big name striker this summer.
Last month, the Rossoneri sold Kaka to Real Madrid in a £56m transfer, but they have yet to spend any of that money.
No 1 transfer target Edin Dzeko told Milan he intended to see out the rest of his contract with Wolfsburg, sending them back to the drawing board.
This morning, the Italian Press claimed Milan have made a £12m bid for Sevilla striker Luis Fabiano, who had a fantastic Confederations Cup.
Other reports have linked the Rossoneri with Real Madrid's Dutch centre-forward Klaas-Jan Huntelaar.
“A very important striker will arrive, but not on Monday, the day of the market,” Galliani told Sky Sport 24.
“However, the coup will arrive by the end of August.”
Asked if the striker in question would be Fabiano or Huntelaar, Galliani replied: “I don't exclude them.”
He also revealed that negotiations for Porto full-back Aly Cissokho had reopened.
Milan looked to have signed the 21-year-old Frenchman last month only for concerns about his teeth and what they said about his posture to scupper the move.
“The deal for Cissokho is on stand-by. We will see what happens,” Galliani concluded.

The Rossoneri have made it clear they want a big name centre-forward to appease the fans following Kaka’s £60m sale to Real Madrid.
It’s reported that today Vice-President Galliani is jetting out to Spain for advanced negotiations with two different Liga clubs.
Nominally his trip is to talk to Real over their benchwarmer Huntelaar, the young Dutch hitman who was signed in January, but will struggle for space with the many new arrivals.
According to Sky Sport Italia, Milan will ask for Huntelaar on loan, a deal that would be of benefit to both clubs.
It would also give the Rossoneri free cash to spend on their other forward target, Sevilla star Luis Fabiano.
“I know that Milan have made an offer and I would like for Sevilla to consider it,” the Confederations Cup top scorer told ABC.
“Until now I’ve preferred to stay on the sidelines, because Milan had not made me any proposals, but now I understand this is an incredible opportunity for me.
“I am happy at Sevilla, but I realise that at the age of 28 there will be few other chances like this for me. Milan are one of the best clubs in the world.”
Yesterday Luis Fabiano’s agent also commented on the player’s wish to join Milan, where he would work with new Coach Leonardo.
The contract has a 30m Euro buy-out clause, but Milan have so far offered only 16m Euros and face competition from Manchester United.

امیدوارم هنتلار حتما بیاد من خیلی ازش خوشم میاد کلا بازیکن های هلندی به میلان می سازن.
امسال به نظرم يووه بهتر از بقيه ي مدعيها خودش رو آماده كرده! مگر اينكه اينتر يا ميلان يه خريد درست و حسابي بكنن! ظاهرا يووه دنبال Melo هم هست, اگه بگيرنش فصل بعد واقعا خط هافبك خطرناكي خواهند داشت!!

“We have great champions like Pato, Ronaldinho and [Andrea] Pirlo, and many young promising players.
“No one in Italy, from the technical point of view, has a squad as strong as ours, not even Inter.
“The objectives? Milan, as always, starts off to win everything, even though there are years which are more lucky or less lucky.
“Reinforcements? The problem is not the names. If on the market some doors open up, someone can arrive, otherwise we’re fine like this. We must not buy at all cost.”
The fans have voiced their disappointment over Milan's transfer efforts through the low sales of season tickets, with reports from Italy stating that the Rossoneri have sold under 1,000 tickets, whereas their rivals Inter have sold over 24,000 so far.

پسر برلوسکونی حرف خوبی زد. فصل آینده یک فصل transitional و تحولی و جهش به یک مرحله ی دیگه ست. نباید توقع زیادی داشت. خرید ها هم بعید میدونم چنگی به دل بزنن! فروش سیزن تیکت ها هم که داره از نظر کم بودن یه رقم تاریخی میشه... (البته باید در پایان مهلت خرید دید چقدر سیزن تیکت فروخته شده نه حالا)

Milan's first day back from the summer holidays has got off to the worst possible start as hundreds of angry Ultras caused trouble outside the club's training ground during today's lunch-hour.
Bottles, various objects and flares were hurled towards the club buildings as journalists from Sky Sport Italia ran for cover. Fans continued to launch heavy insults towards the club's directors, unhappy that the pre-season, which begins later today, kicks-off with no new striker or signings following the departure of Kaka to Real Madrid.
The Ultras aimed their anger towards the club's owner, Silvio Berlusconi, and vice-president Adriano Galliani. They are clearly angered by Berlusconi's comments in today's edition of La Gazzetta Dello Sport where the chief claims the club are stronger than Inter.
"Anyone who tries to stop us will end up in hospital," chanted the fans outside the club, according to Sky Sport Italia.
Police soon arrived at the scene and restored some order, but the Ultras are in no mood for conciliation. The protests have been toned down somewhat following the police presence, but the fans are demanding answers.
Leonardo and Galliani are expected to give a press conference later today.

من هم 100درصد با Radiohead موافقم که نباید امسال منتظر یک تحول عظیم باشیم و مثلا انتظار اومدن ریبری رم ندارم ولی به عنوان یک هوادار باشگاه به خودم حق میدم انتظار داشته باشم به شعورم توهین نشه. وقتی می بینیم اینها دم از رفاقت و برادری با پرز میزنن ولی نمی تونن ازش یه بازیکن بگیرن یا وقتی هر سال همین حرفهای تکراری رو در مورد اینکه تیم ما با داشتن امثال کالاتزه و امرسون ...... بهترین تیم دنیاست و ما نیاز به خرید نداریم و اول فصل بهمون قول قهرمانی میگن اخر فصل....... چه انتظاری دارن.

Milan's first day back from the summer holidays has got off to the worst possible start as hundreds of angry Ultras caused trouble outside the club's training ground during today's lunch-hour.
Bottles, various objects and flares were hurled towards the club buildings as journalists from Sky Sport Italia ran for cover. Fans continued to launch heavy insults towards the club's directors, unhappy that the pre-season, which begins later today, kicks-off with no new striker or signings following the departure of Kaka to Real Madrid.
The Ultras aimed their anger towards the club's owner, Silvio Berlusconi, and vice-president Adriano Galliani. They are clearly angered by Berlusconi's comments in today's edition of La Gazzetta Dello Sport where the chief claims the club are stronger than Inter.
"Anyone who tries to stop us will end up in hospital," chanted the fans outside the club, according to Sky Sport Italia.
Police soon arrived at the scene and restored some order, but the Ultras are in no mood for conciliation. The protests have been toned down somewhat following the police presence, but the fans are demanding answers.
Leonardo and Galliani are expected to give a press conference later today.

اصلا مقايسه ي خوبي نكردي!!!
برلوسكوني حداقل يه انسان متمدنه! و اينكه فكر نمي كنم نيت بدي داشته باشه نسبت به باشگاه بر خلاف اونطرف مقايسه كه...
راستي كلا اوضاع درست و درموني ندارن باشگاههاي ايتاليايي! موراتي هم گفته از خريد هاي ميليوني خبري نيست و با يه برنامه ي سه ساله ميخواد اقتصاد باشگاه رو سر و سامون بده! خريد بازيكنان جوون و آينده نگري و اين حرفها... كلا وقتي صحبت از rejuvenate ميشه تنم ميلرزه!

هواداران پارچه نوشته اي با اين مضمون در دست داشتند :" بدون مصالحه: نخست به فکر ميلان باشيد تا تامين منافع شخصي خودتان " . آنان علائمي نيز در انتقاد از سيلويو برلوسکوني مالک باشگاه و نخست وزير ايتاليا در دست داشتند.
پليس محلي براي کمک به کنترل اوضاع فرا خوانده شد ولي گزارشي در مورد دستگيري معترضين يا آسيب رسيدن احتمالي به آنان دريافت نشد.
