some times we make mistakes by judging our friends rapidly without enough investigation

i don't know where my friend is

if a bad event happens to you...do you blame yourself or others and conditions???do you take whole responsibility for a bad event???let me give you an example:you try hard but you can not go to a great university,do you blame your equipments or you accept that you didnt do your best

I've been thinking about this "judgement" thing for a long time. Personally, I believe everyone of us has judgements about every other person around him/her. The only difference is that some of us keep our judgements about others to ourselves, and some of us don't!d

I agree with you! We willy-nilly judge people all the time base on people's looks or behaviors. That's why they say first impressions are very important. You know to me the important thing is not to decide or act base on my first judgements since it might be wrong and cause so many problems....

sorry a big question about my job!

I'm an English teacher but still my English is poor i mean it is not good as should be why? !and it goes worser as my record of service goes higher but i do my best to prevent!!

I teach students in villages and countries they are demotivated about learning English and its uses and I can not persuade them
how can I motivate them as far as you know the textBooks in Iran are poorly compiled

consider there is no well equipment and other media such as video projector and... as exist in good schools big cities such Tehran

learning English through that books based on grammar and vocabulary are boring I gave right to students

We knowmain cause of this problem is our ministery of Education System but what are practical solutions?

what should I and any teacher like me do?

?any suggestion

like simple story books , cartoons , picture dictionaries they might get more attracted in this way.

Your question is really difficult, because inspiring an unmotivated person can sometimes be very hard (frankly, sometimes impossible).d

People emulate together, and since your students in villages don't have any educated person with high english language skills around them, they don't feel the need to learn english. IMHO, you need to talk to them about how necessary english language is in the modern world, and how crippled a person with weak language skills would be in a world like this...d

You need to find some things in the daily life of an ordinary person that need language skills to be done right, and remind them of those things.d

And last but not least, you have to be hard on them! I'm serious! Make them compete, and they will progress. You also need to defend them against their laziness! Test them frequently, encourage the better students or the ones who are advancing, and punish the lazy ones!

unfortunately in our education system

but my main question was:

how to motivate students ? they're so demotivated and ask why we should study English?

My answer is because its international language .The language of any devices and new technologies that made by all contries is English.

But real problem is tjey are from poor families .most of their parents are uneducated and . .

You have to be creative...d

Many people in Iranian villages use satellite dishes and watch foreign TV channels, or simply watch a lot of foreign movies using CDs or DVDs. Maybe some of your students would be interested in comprehending the movies or satellite TV programs by learning foreign languages!d

Or maybe you can simply explain the importance of english skills in their important future exams, and how it helps them pass 1000 exams and filters in future...d​
