Well, they say 'One swallow does not make a spring' but
I guess if anyone does her/his best to improve things that does make
a change!
This forum used to be great because there were great members like seymour who really made a difference
but unfortunately they're not around right now!

hmmm...I'm thinking of this right now:
why some people appearances don't give us the feeling of trust?
I know it's not wise to pass judgement on people base on their appearances but sometimes
I really can't help liking some people. Some people look really handsome,you see them doing good things
and helping other and they're socially very popular, yet I sorta can't believe them.

I used to think just like you

I used to be this naive person eho judged everybody by their looks

But I as time passed by and I gained more experience and got closer to these handsome boys and gorgeous girls
I came to see that how shallow most of them really are. How arrogant and snubish ...
and it was the point that I turned to examine ugly and plain people, most of whom I found down-to-earth , obliging and lovely
And these people were who I found my comfort in their company

So try to change your point of view
look at the world from a more realistic position

well...it's not a regular rule...both ugly and good-looking people can be lovely...but when you see a person with a ordinary face....you expect him\her to be ordinary too in personality...and when he\she does something special,it sounds for you that he is a special and lovely because his\her function was opposite of your expectations

but about a person with good face...at the first time you feel well about him\her and you almost expect him\her to be special and lovely and when he\she is you're not suprised as the previous one

i think mostly women are the victims of these verdicts
also we have wrong thoughts about ethnic groups age groups
gender groups
discrimination is way beyond just appearance
we should learn how to respect different groups

and i think we should learn how to respect humankind as a whole ....and in a wider view we should learn how to respect all the creatures around us

unfortunately its not possible.....most of the feelings regarding these values are fading ....most of the people have become more selfish generation after generation....and all of these will happen little by little so that we can not really recognize the depth of the disaster .....a hopeless remedy for this deep scar is to start teaching our self ......each person should correct him/her self

yeah...everyone should does...and not just saying good stuff....we have to do....doing is the hardest part of being a good man

I've been thinking about this "judgement" thing for a long time. Personally, I believe everyone of us has judgements about every other person around him/her. The only difference is that some of us keep our judgements about others to ourselves, and some of us don't!d

Example 1: Many believe that the people of USA/Canada aren't racists! What do you think? That they don't understand the huge difference between people of different races (intellectually - aesthetically - culturally - etc)? they know it, and they know it well! But they keep it to themselves and don't insult others.d

Example 2: Two people come to you and ask you to lend them some money! One of them is a highly educated person and the other one, an injecting drug user with 100 needle holes in his arms! What do u do? You think: it's not right to be judgemental! Let's toss a coin and the winner gets the money? Of course not...d

And personally I judge everybody around me from the first moment we meet. also, I trust others extremely hardly (almost never when it comes to critical matters). Everybody who wants to call me a judgemental person, please be my guest! But I know these are our instincts, and they exist for a reason. d​

I just read an article about differences in thoughts that are affected by different brain structures. so I think most of our personality is  formed by our genes.
any way i like people . and i think maybe the cautiousness part of my brain has a problem

well we cant trust others because they want us to!!!they have to give us trustiness themselves and also judgment is not easy on someone's personality...it takes time to be sure about something that is really true about someone...maybe there are many reasons behind the curtain...just remember things which we see apparently,are not excatly the same from inside

I always give folks a chance to prove themselves good and honest people, but I usually don't trust them at the beginning (I trust very hard). d

And about the judgement, I think everybody (including yourself) has them, but we need to keep our judgements to ourselves and let people show their true nature to us...d

some times I feel sorry for people who even doesn't deserve it.
some times I worry for people doesn't worth to be worry for them
some times I think I'm too kind for some people. but IM not sorry for what I've done being kind is a part of my nature

we can embarrass people with kindness and bring them to the honesty way but it needs selfdevotion and maybe some people wouldn't turn into a good mankind and that makes our effort useless...in this way we just must keep our hopes in high levels and dont get desperate
