Porsche Launches the P’9521 Mobile Phone

Porsche have teamed up with Sagem to craft a ridiculously high-end and really rather cool mobile phone, labelled the P'9521.

Milled from a solid block of aluminium and using mineral glass, there are some undeniably nice touches. The screen rotates through 180 degrees for camphone action using the 3.2Mp snapper with autofocus and two-LED flash, and there's a fingerprint reader for locking your phone and protecting it from drunken friends intent on changing the language setting to ancient Greek. Said fingerprint reader can also be used to assign different pinkies to different phone numbers, though remembering which finger is which friend could lead to all sorts of difficulty.

Elsewhere there's an MP3 player with three built-in speakers for 2.1 stereo sound, EDGE for internet browsing, 2.2in 262k-colour screen, Bluetooth and 1GB MiniSD card slot. Not the most fully featured phone then, but it is completely and utterly left of centre with enough quirkiness and limited appeal (only a few dozen will go up for sale in the UK) Due early September for £815. source:gadgetcentre
